## Abstract A novel slope‐strip feeding technique for a microstrip antenna is presented in order to achieve a broad bandwidth. The experimental results show that the optimal bandwidth attained is 53.4% for less than −10‐dB return loss. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 43: 1

A no¨el strip-line feeding technique for a double-layer microstrip antenna is introduced. The proposed feed structure reduces the spurious radiation due to the discontinuities caused by the strip-line feed. The analysis is based on the ca¨ity model, which pro¨ides a simple design procedure.
## Abstract A broadband rectangular microstrip antenna utilizing an electromagnetically coupled L‐strip feed is presented. Experimental study shows a 2:1 VSWR bandwidth of ≈ 10% and excellent cross‐polarization performance with a radiation coverage almost as same as that of the rectangular microstr
A circularly polarized CP circular patch microstrip antenna with a cross slot using an L-shaped probe fed by a microstrip line is designed and measured. With the single L-probe, the impedance bandwidth, the axial-ratio bandwidth, and the gain bandwidth are 27, ( ) 3.47, and 26%, respecti¨ely, for th
## Abstract This Letter describes a dual‐band microstrip patch antenna with a balanced center‐fed feeding configuration and a pair of slots near the radiating edges of the patch. The effects of the slots on the impedance and radiation characteristics of the antenna are experimentally examined. © 20
## Abstract A dual‐frequency patch antenna with an inset feed in presented and discussed. It is demonstrated that by cutting two slots into one of the radiating edges of a microstrip patch antenna, a dual‐frequency response with a frequency ratio from 1.03 to 2.0 can be achieved. It is also shown t
