Ritanserin
has been labelled with 18F to visualize the serotoninergic receptors by Positron Emission Tomography (PET). The synthesis was carried out by a nucleophilic substitution of a nitro substituent of a ni trophenylketone by 18F-and then addition of a Grignard reagent to the ketone folloved by dehydration of the tertiary alcohol so formed. The total time to have ["Plritanserin ready for injection into a was 150 minutes (after the end of bombardement for the 18P production patient P o (p,n) %). The labelling technique described was used to obtain 1.1 to 1.5 GBq 18 (30 to 40 mCi) of [ PIRitanserin with a specific activity of 44 GBq/lrmol (1.2 Ci/pmol) starting from 18.5 GBq (500 m C i ) 18F.

## Abstract There is growing interest in the use of radiolabelled peptides as receptor targeting agents for diagnostic imaging of various cancer types using positron emission tomography. In this work, 1β[3β(2β[^18^F]fluoropyridinβ3βyloxy)propyl]pyrroleβ2,5βdione ([^18^F]FPyME) has been used for par
