## Abstract The effects of three dipeptides L‐phenylalanyl‐glycine, glycyl‐L‐phenylalanine, and aspartame (L‐aspartyl‐L‐phenylalanine, methyl ester) as inhibitors of the ascorbic acid‐induced modifications in lens proteins were studied. Their efficiency was compared to that of two known inhibitors—
