✦ Synopsis

A new approximate equation is derived for the time variation of the ionic current during the constant voltage stage of anodic oxidation. By comparison with the exact solution, obtained by numerical integration, the error of the approximation can be kept below a limit of about 5%. which is much lower than our previous calculation (part I of this series). The approximate equation has been used to calculate the anodization field mesent in the nrecedina stage of constant current by fitting the equation to the experimental value-s of the ionic current.
