Emission spectra of the b 1 ⌺ ϩ 3 X 3 ⌺ Ϫ and a 1 ⌬ 3 X 3 ⌺ Ϫ transitions of SO in the near-infrared spectral region were studied at high spectral resolution with a Fourier-transform spectrometer. The 0 -0 band of the b 3 X system was measured at high signal/noise and four magnetic dipole branches w

✦ Synopsis
The A 1 ⌺ ϩ -X 1 ⌺ ϩ chemiluminescence spectrum of SrO was observed using a Fourier transform spectrometer. SrO was produced in a Broida-type oven from the Sr ϩ N 2 O reaction. A total of 75 bands from 88 SrO, 87 SrO, and 86 SrO were measured in the range of 7600 -13 600 cm Ϫ1 at a resolution of 0.04 cm Ϫ1 . The vibrational levels of the ground state were observed up to v Љ ϭ 12 and over 10 000 rovibrational lines with J as high as 153 were analyzed at a precision of about 0.005 cm Ϫ1 . Significantly improved spectral constants for the ground state were obtained by representing the perturbed excited state by term values and by adding the known microwave data and infrared data to our fit. Strong perturbations were observed in the upper A state. The vibrational levels of the A 1 ⌺ ϩ state were measured up to vЈ ϭ 8 and some new perturbations are reported.

The oxygen b 1 S / g -X 3 S 0 g electronic spectrum (the atmospheric system) has been recorded at high resolution in both emission and absorption on the same Fourier transform spectrometer but with independent calibration methods used in each case. After correction for the known pressure shift of th
The emission spectrum of \(\mathrm{CrH}\) has been observed in the near-infrared region from \(10000-\) \(13500 \mathrm{~cm}^{-1}\) using a Fourier transform spectrometer. Compared with the previous work on this molecule, the present spectra provide greatly improved measurements of the line position
Transition probabilities for the B 1 + -X 1 + and the B 1 + -A 1 electronic systems are presented for v = 0-4 and J = 0-150 in each electronic state. The functional form of the electronic transition moment for the B-X transition is taken from published ab initio results. The B-A moment is assumed to
The emission spectrum of BN has been investigated in the 1800-9000 cm 01 region using a Fourier transform spectrometer. BN was formed in a microwave discharge of He with a trace of BCl 3 and N 2 . The bands observed in the 3000-7800 cm 01 interval have been assigned as the b 1 P-a 1 S / transition,
