β¦ Synopsis
Photochemical reactions of some phenoxy radicals were investigated by a flash photolysis method. Spectral and kinetic characteristics of electronically-excited states of galvinoxyl and indophenoxyl were studied. Electronically-excited states of phenoxy radicals obtained under ultraviolet irradiation (260-320 nm) abstract hydrogen atoms from the solvent molecules.
