## Abstract Conversions of uracil to uridine and of uracil and thymine to the corresponding 2โ€ฒโ€deoxyribonucleosides catalyzed by the cellโ€free extract of __Escherichia coli__ B take place both at 37ยฐC and 2ยฐC. The yield of nucleosides formed during the shortโ€term incubation was higher at 37ยฐC while
