✦ Synopsis

In the title compound, C~16~H~15~BrN~4~O~6~·C~3~H~7~NO, the substituted vanillin group makes a dihedral angle of 7.58 (10)° with the nitrophenylhydrazine mean plane. A bifurcated intra/intermolecular N—H...(O,O) hydrogen bond and two C—H...O interactions help to establish the molecular conformation and consolidate the crystal packing.
