✦ Synopsis
The title compound, [Cu 2 Cl 4 (C 20 H 18 N 2 O) 2 ], is a centrosymmetric dimer bridged through the Cl atoms. The bridging Cu 2 Cl 2 unit is planar and each Cu II ion has two different distances to the bridging Cl atom. The Cu II ions are coordinated to three Cl and two N atoms in a squarepyramidal disposition. Hydrogen bonds are formed by ±OH and ±NH with the Cl atoms.

The title compound, [Cu 2 Cl 4 (C 10 H 8 N 2 ) 2 ], represents the first example of a simple dimeric coordination complex of Cu II and 2,2 0 -bipyridine (bpy). The metal is in a five-coordinate distorted square-pyramidal environment, bonded to a 2,2 0bipyridine molecule, two bridging chlorides and o
The title compound, [Pd 2 Cl 2 ("-C 6 H 5 Se) 2 (C 18 H 15 P) 2 ], crystallizes as a centrosymmetric phenylselenolato-bridged dinuclear palladium complex. The Pd atom shows a slightly distorted square-planar coordination geometry, with the PdÐSe distance trans to the terminal Cl À ligand at 2.4174 (
