✦ Synopsis
The composition of the essential oils isolated from the aerial parts of Teucrium haenseleri Boiss. collected during the ¯owering period and the vegetative phase of the plant, was analysed by GC and GC±MS. The oils consisted mainly of monoterpenes (84% in the oil from the ¯owers, 82% and 82% in the oils from the ¯owering and vegetative leaves, respectively). a-Pinene and b-pinene were the dominant components in all the oils (42±54%). The sesquiterpene fraction (8±11%) was always dominated by d-cadinene (3±5%).
