✦ Synopsis


In the structure of the title compound, [Zr(C~5~H~5~)~2~(C~9~H~11~O)Cl], the Zr atom is in a pseudo-tetrahedral coordination environment and is coordinated by two η^5^-cyclopentadienyl (Cp) rings, a chloride ion and a 4-methoxyphenethyl group. The 4-methoxyphenethyl ligand is disordered over two positions; the site occupancy factors are ca 0.6 and 0.4.
