Generation of α-Boryl Radicals by Reduction of α-Haloalkylboronic

Esters with CrCl 2 .

-Reduction of α-haloakylboronic esters (I) under optimized conditions generates α-boryl radicals, which readily react with electron-deficient olefins to yield the adducts (III) under mild conditions. -
