Diastereoselective Addition of Allylic Reagents to Chiral α-Ketoimides Derived from Oppolzer's Sultam.

-Additions of allylic reagents (II), (V), and (VI) to the chiral sultam derivatives (I) is described. High diastereoselection in these reactions is observed and in the case of the allyl-Tms (VI)/TiCl 4 additions, a change of direction of asymmetric induction is found.
