A Modular Approach to Ligands for Asymmetric π-Allyl Palladium Catalyzed Additions.
-Among 10 phosphinodihydrooxazoles, prepared by a simple four-step procedure, the ligand RIPOX is the most efficient one. The chirality at the carbon next to the phosphine has little effect on the selectivity of the catalysis, cf. SIPOX.
