✦ Synopsis

Abstract

o‐ und p‐Cyansubstituierte Toluol‐Derivate können mit Anilen aromatischer carbocyclischer oder heterocyclischer Aldehyde in Gegenwart von Dimethylformamid und Natriummethylat bei Raumtemperatur in die entsprechenden Styryl‐ bzw. Stillbenyl‐Verbindungen übergeführt werden (« Anil‐Synthese »). Zur Darstellung Cyan‐substituierter Bis‐styryl‐Verbindungen sind __Schiff__sche Basen aus aromatischen Dialdehyden und o‐Chloranilin ihrer guten Löslichkeit wegen besonders geeignet.
