✦ Synopsis

A reversed-phase high-pressure liquid chromatographic procedure has been developed to separate and quantitate leukotrienes. This procedure is based on the ultraviolet absorption of the conjugated triene moiety of these compounds and is sensitive to the nanogram level. Several leukotrienes (B4, C,, D4) can be quantitated in a singie analysis using prostaglandin Bz as an internal standard. Leukotriene production by murine m~t~ytoma cells foliowing stimulation with a calcium ionophore has been examined by this method.

## Abstract Cardenolides of __Convallaria majalis__ were separated by reverse‐phase HPLC on Partisil PXS 10/25 ODS columns using 25% acetonitrile as mobile phase. Periplorhamnoside, convallatoxin and either convallatoxol or convalloside were resolved from glycoside mixtures. Convallatoxin and perip
