Studies on the reaction of varioua open-chain and cyclic ethers

with trifluoromethylsulphenyl chloride in n-pentane in the prescnce of pyridine showed that the only fluorinated product of these reactions was a mixture of CF3S-substituted n-pentane derivatives.
