Stereocontrolled Total Synthesis of (+)-K252a. -The cycloglycosidic indolocarbazole alkaloid (I) shows strong PKC inhibitory activity. A linear 23-step sequence starting from indole-3-acetic acid is developed for the synthesis of (I) in 10% overall yield. The known deoxyfuranose derivative (II) is u
