Tetrodotoxin (TTX), a powerful sodium channel blocker, usually exists as a mixture of its analogs (TTXs) in natural sources. Due to the structural variation, some analogs are difficult to detect using the postcolumn liquid chromatography-fluorescent detection (LC-FLD) system. Liquid chromatography/e

✦ Synopsis
Abstract
Liquid chromatography coupled with tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS/MS) technology is emerging as a complementary method to traditional methodology used for clinical applications. Enhanced specificity and high‐throughput capabilities are providing significant benefits to clinical diagnostic laboratories conducting routine analyses. This technology is expected to expand rapidly as scientists focus on more complicated challenges that can be solved efficiently by adding LC/MS/MS to their arsenal of techniques. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Thermospray liquid chromatography/mass spectrometry using a double-focusing magnetic sector mass spectrometer has been studied. The quality of the thermospray mass spectra were often a function of the solvent mixture used, and use of gradients affected the quality of some thermospray mass spectra. H
## Abstract A rapid and sensitive LC/MS/MS assay was developed and validated for the determination of clopidogrel in human plasma. Clopidogrel was extracted by single liquid–liquid extraction with pentane, and chromatographic separations were achieved on a C~18~ column. The method was validated to
Data-dependent liquid chromatography tandem mass spectrometry was utilized to identify leachables from adhesives used in pharmaceutical products. This approach affords a significant increase in the amount of data obtained from a single experiment. No information about the sample is needed a priori t
