✦ Synopsis
Abstract
The original V‐band antenna design meant for precision near‐field measurements is presented. The evident antenna advantages are demonstrated by means of model experiments with the different artificial radio‐transparent dielectrics. It has been shown that the permittivity of local inhomogeneities embedded into the dielectric matrix can be determined with confidence. © 2007 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, a novel dual‐band patch antenna having a chair‐shaped slot is designed, fabricated, and measured for Zigbee system. The proposed antenna is designed to operate from 868 to 928 MHz (lower‐frequency band) and 2.45 GHz (upper‐frequency band). The lower‐frequency band (868–
## Abstract A novel ultra‐wideband monopole antenna is presented in this article. The radiation element of the proposed antenna is composed of dual‐ring connected by several metallic via holes. The structure of the radiating ground is a rectangle with two rounding chamfers. They are printed on the
A method for broadbanding and dual banding of the microstrip antennas (MSA) is proposed and discussed. The effect of errors at the time of fabrication of the MSA also is studied. The method described in this paper combines a transformer made of a distributed circuit with the MSA. The design consists
## Abstract This article presents a time‐domain approach of the single‐antenna method for ultra‐wide band (UWB) antennas. The proposed differential technique separates forward, reverse, and received signals at the antenna input. A post‐processing technique was also derived, to extract far‐field res
## Abstract A new microstrip‐fed triple band antenna is presented for satisfying wireless local area network (WLAN) and worldwide interoperability for microwave access (WiMAX) applications simultaneously. The antenna comprises a rectangular monopole fed by a microstrip transmission line to generate
