✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel compact microstrip bandpass filter which is realized by combining new slow‐wave effect with dual‐parallel coupling, is proposed. The filter is not only compact in size, but also has low insertion loss and sharp rejection. A demonstration filter is optimally designed and fabricated. Theoretical and experimental results are presented. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 41: 505–506, 2004; Published online in Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com).
