✦ Synopsis
Abstract
We report a novel miniaturized microstrip bandpass filter with a meander‐line resonator which exhibits a much smaller size. A very compact prototype, having a size of about λ~g0~/8×λ~g0~/8 at a center frequency of 2.445 GHz, was designed and fabricated for a 2.4 GHz bluetooth application. The measurement results of the proposed filter are in good agreement with the simulation results. © 2002 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 32: 319–321, 2002.
