β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
In this article, a novel CPWβfed broadband asymmetrical slot antenna is proposed. The prototype consists of an asymmetrical slot and a tuning stub. From experimental results, the measured impedance bandwidth of this antenna, defined by β10 dB return loss, can reach an operating bandwidth of 6.63 GHz (2.27β8.9 GHz), or about 118.7% with the center frequency operating at 5.585 GHz. Also, good radiation patterns and gains covering the operating band have been observed. Details of the antenna design and experimental results are discussed in this article. ## Abstract A novel design of a broadband circularly polarized square slot antenna fed by a single coplanar waveguide is proposed and discussed. The circularly polarized radiation is achieved by means of using an outer rectangular ring and an inner rectangular ring at the center of a square slot. T
## Abstract In this paper, we describe a variation of a folded slot antenna that is formed by a nonuniformβwidth slot. The antenna is fed by a coplanar waveguide on which a pair of small slits are located on both sides for broadband matching. The simulated results and measured data reveal that it e
