โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
A new coplanar waveguide (CPW)โfed broadband printed slot antenna is presented. The impedance bandwidth is greatly increased by using a linear taper. The test antenna's impedance bandwidth of โ10โdB return loss reaches 40% with low crossโpolarization level. The impedance characteristics and radiation patterns of the slot antenna with different sizes of tapers are presented. The simulated results agree well with the measured ones. ยฉ 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
