โฆ Synopsis
23 Na MAS, CPrMAS and quadrupole nutation NMR spectra and the 23 Na spin-lattice relaxation times in Na-DNA with ลฝ 2q w ลฝ . x 2q . and without competing species Mg , ethidium bromide and Ru phen reveal the presence of two sodium sites with 3 different NMR parameters. While in the presence of Mg 2q , sodium resides far from the surface of the DNA molecule, w ลฝ . x 2q ethidium bromide and Ru phen displace sodium closer towards the surface.
