✦ Synopsis

The title compound, [Zn(C 20 H 18 N 2 O 6 )]ÁCH 3 OH, has been synthesized through a one-step procedure in a methanol solvent. The Zn atom exhibits a distorted trigonal prismatic geometry consisting of two imine N-atom donors, two O-atom donors of the phenoxy groups and two O-atom donors of the deprotonated carboxyl groups. C-HÁ Á ÁO interactions stabilize the structure.
