✦ Synopsis
In the title compound, [Ni(C 15 H 10 BrClN 2 O 2 )(C 5 H 5 N) 3 ]Á-C 5 H 5 N, the Ni atom is coordinated by three pyridine molecules and one oxygen-containing ligand in a tridentate manner via O, N and O atoms. The geometry of the Ni atom is distorted octahedral. There are no signi®cant intermolecular interactions in the crystal structure.

The double chelate ring in the title complex, [Ni(C 15 H 11 Cl-N 3 O 3 ) 2 ]ÁC 5 H 5 N, is essentially planar, with the O,N,O-donor atoms and a pyridine ligand N atom occuping the equatorial positions in a distorted octahedral environment about the Ni atom. The NÐNiÐN axial bond angle is 173.16 (8)
The crystal structure of the title compound, [Ni(C 15 H 10 Cl 2- N 2 O 2 )(C 5 H 5 N) 3 ]ÁC 5 H 5 N, is built of molecules of a mononuclear nickel complex and uncoordinated solvent pyridine molecules. The Ni II atom in the complex is coordinated by two O and one N atoms of the meridional tridentate
In the centrosymmetric title compound, [Zn(C 15 H 13 N 2 O 2 ) 2 -(C 5 H 5 N) 2 ], the Zn atom is chelated by the O and N atoms of two bidentate ligands. The coordination geometry of the central Zn atom is octahedral. The crystal packing is stabilized by intermolecular CÐHÁ Á ÁO interactions.
The title compound, [Zn(C 9 H 9 Br 2 NO 4 S)(C 8 H 8 N 2 )(H 2 O)]Á-C 2 H 5 OH, was synthesized in a water±ethanol solution. In the structure, one Zn atom is six-coordinated by three ligands to form the neutral complex, in which the Zn atom has a distorted octahedral coordination geometry. Molecules
