L'effet Hall de carbones pregraphitiques trait& B moins de 1000Β°C n'a pu &tre CtudiC jusqu'8 present. Les Cchantillons se presentent gencralement sous une forme trks poreuse, il n'est g&e possible d'obtenir des parallClCpipCdes suffisament compacts et bien d&finis. Par une methode deja d&rite* des charbons d'anthracene trait& entre 5.50 et 1000Β°C ont CtC Ctudies directement sous forme de poudre. Deux appareils de mesure d'effet Hall on et6 construits pour Ctudier ces Cchantillons de grande resistivite (lOQ.cm pour HTT = SOO'C) et pour &miner les effets thermiques et galvanomagnetiques parasites. Les Cprouvettes de rcsistivite inferieure a 10Qcm sont CtudiCes B l'aide du premier montage derive de celui de T.M. Dauphinee et E. Mooser (liev. Sci. Inst., 26, 660-4, 1955). Pour des resistivites superieures, le deuxicme appareil doit Gtre utilise. Dans celui-ci, la difference de potentiel appliquee B ~~chantillon est alternative, les differences de potentiel de Hall sont mesurees B I'aide de tubes C1ectrometres.t Les rcsultats donnes par les deux appareifs sont en bon accord, Les constantes de Hall obtenues sont t&s grandes pour less basses temperatures de traitement. On observe une diminution brutale entre 550 et 700Β°C.
