Abstract

The synthesis and isolation of d,l‐epiallo‐Muscarine are described. The syntheses of d,l‐Muscarine and its three stereoisomers from 2‐Methyl‐5‐dimethylaminomethyl‐2,3‐dihydro‐furan‐3‐one and the properties of their salts are reviewed. The proof for the configurations of d,l‐Muscarine and its three stereoisomers is given.
