## Abstract The condensation of dianilino‐pyromellitic acid‐dianhydride (I) and dichloro‐pyromellitic acid‐dianhydride (XI) with substituted anilines gave new derivates of dianilino‐pyromellitic acid‐di‐phenylimide (II).
