Abstract

The capacity of binding copper ions of several proteins has been investigated by a colorimetric method described in an earlier paper. A relation between the copper binding capacity and the degree of hydrolysis of gelatine has been found. This relationship permits con‐ clusions concerning structure and ehelating properties of proteins.
