Die Röntgenstrukturanalyse zeigt, daß im Nardosinon (1) der 1,2‐Dioxolan‐Ring in cis‐Stellung steht. Die Bildung des Nardofurans (3) aus Isonardosinon (2) verläuft daher unter Retention der Konfiguration an C‐4.
