✦ Synopsis
Abstract
A novel slot antenna of large bandwidth and small size, which is fed by a fan‐shaped microstrip feed with a straight stub, is introduced. The effect of the fan feed on the impedance characteristics is investigated theoretically and experimentally. Good agreement between the theoretical and experimental results is obtained. Its measured VSWR ≤ 2 bandwidth reaches approximately 114%, covering 1.55–5.66 GHz. The measured standing‐wave ratio curves and radiation patterns of the antenna at f = 2 GHz and at f = 5 GHz are both presented. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. ## Abstract In this article, one wideband circularly polarized microstrip antenna array has been proposed and investigated. The technique of sequential rotation subarray has been employed to construct the whole antenna array, which enhances the impedance bandwidth and axial ratio (AR) bandwidth by
## Abstract A wideband microstrip patch antenna with tilted L‐probe is proposed and studied. Given a tilted L‐shaped probe and substrate height of about 16.8% of the wavelength, a bandwidth of 37.1% is obtained in the design, and the in‐band __S__~11~ parameter is improved. The radiation pattern is
