## Abstract In this article, a new slot antenna with a quasiโspiral slot is proposed.A simple microstrip line feed is used to excite the slot antenna. Measurement results show that 10 dB return loss bandwidth and 3 dB axial ratio bandwidth of the proposed antenna are 87 and 43%, respectively. ยฉ 201

โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Wideband circular polarization with a boresight axial ratio of โค 2.2 dB is achieved over 35% of bandwidth by sequential rotation of linearly polarized radial stubโfed slot elements (2 ร 2 array). The effect of the feed interactions upon the antenna radiation pattern is also analysed. The impedance bandwidth of the antenna is 40%, centered at 2.1 GHz for VSWR โค 1.5. The average measured gain of the antenna is 3 dB. ยฉ 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Microwave Opt Technol Lett 43: 211โ213, 2004; Published online in Wiley InterScience (www.interscience.wiley.com). ## Abstract A new broadband singleโfed circularly polarized (CP) wideโslot antenna is presented in the letter. The antenna is composed of a wideโslot, with a Tโshaped stub and a microstrip Tโjunction. The CP operation is realized by the interaction from the Tโshaped stub on the wideโslot and the Tโ
A novel ultra-wideband compact slot antenna fed by a grounded coplanar waveguide (CPW) is presented. This antenna is similar to the conventional CPW-fed slot antenna, and a forklike tuning stub and a polygonlike slot are designed in order to increase the operation bandwidth of the antenna. It is inv
