โœฆ Synopsis

The essential oil Scutellaria lateriflora L. (Labiatae) growing wild in northern Iran obtained by hydrodistillation was investigated using TLC, LSC, GLC, and GLC-MS methods. The oil is mainly composed of sesquiterpenes (78.3%) of which 6-cadinene (27%), calamenene (15.2%), p-elemene (9.2%), or-cubebene (4.2%), and a-humulene (4.2%) are the major components. At least 73 compounds were present in the oil. Non-terpenoid constituents were found in low concentrations.

## Abstract The essential oil and SPME samples of the leaves, ๏ฌ‚owers and seeds of __Psoralea bituminosa__ L. were analysed by GC and GCโ€“MS. We have investigated also the presence of monoterpene or aliphatic alcohol glucosides. The essential oils showed both qualitative and quantitative differences.

The constituents of the essential oil obtained by hydrodistillation of Stachys obliqua L. (Lamiaceae) grown in Fethiye, western Anatolia, were investigated by GC and GCยฑMS analysis. A total of 31 compounds were detected, 29 of which (representing 97.1% of the total oil) were fully identiยฎed. The maj
