Total vapour pressure measurements made by a modified static method for the ternary mixture (N -methylacetamide + methanol + water), and for the binary constituent mixtures at the temperature 313.15 K are presented. Different expressions for the excess Gibbs free energy are tested, and prediction of ternary (vapour + liquid) equilibrium from binary results is examined.
