✦ Synopsis
We calculate numerically the first few minibands of the holes in a GaAs/Ga 1Àx Al x As superlattice within the spherical Luttinger model with a superimposed Kronig-Penney periodical potential. Three-dimensional representations of the band structure versus parallel and perpendicular components of the momentum give insight into the intricated band structure and may serve for further applications.
