β¦ Synopsis
The UV absorption spectrum of a TP smgle crystal IS measured between 297 and 77 K. The UV spectrum shifts to hyhcr encgy as the temperature falls. The temperature dependence of the UV absorption spectrum mdrcates that a disphcwe transltlon occurs rather than an order-disorder one III a TP crystal.
