โœฆ Synopsis


Our main results are a Riccati equation-based robust stability criterion and a robust stabilization scheme in systems with uncertain loop-gain. These issues are considered in the general framework of time--varying and possibly infinite dimensional linear systems. The current analysis is consequential to the recent development of a time-domain/variational approach to H. control. The report includes also remarks on the trade-off between the type of uniform stability required (Lyapunov vs exponential) and the type of perturbations considered (real vs complex), and on the small gain criterion in time-varying systems.
