## Abstract One novel compact ultra‐wideband filter having high‐frequency selectivity and wide stopband is developed by using microstrip stub‐loaded dual‐mode resonator couples. Open stub‐loaded and short stub‐loaded are used to widen the passband of filter without aperture‐enhanced coupled line st

Abstract
Design of an ultra wide band (UWB) filter using tightly coupled lines in micro strip medium suitable for UWB communications has been presented in this paper. Coupled lines with centrally loaded open circuited stubs have been appropriately chosen to locate the two attenuation poles, close to either side of the desired pass band. Experimental results of a 3.1–5.3 GHz filter designed using the present method have been verified against the results obtained from circuit model. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We present the development of a miniaturized broadband Wilkinson power divider on a multilayer organic substrate with integrated thin film resistors. The VSWR for all port for both dividers is better than 1.6:1, the excess insertion loss is less than 1.6 dB up to 18 GHz, and 12 dB of isolation is re
