The spectroscopic study of Nd 3ΓΎ in g-Nd 3ΓΎ : LaSc 3 (BO 3 ) 4 crystal had been performed. Using the Judd-Ofelt theory to analyze the optical strengths measured in absorption spectra, the following spectral parameters were obtained: parameters of oscillator strengths W l are W 2 ΒΌ 1.951 Γ 10 Γ20 cm
