The optically dctectcd mngneric rcsonancc (ODAIR) nnd phosphoresccncc microwave double rcsonxncz (PJIDR) spectra of 1,5-.4.5-tetrabromobcnzenc in durcnc arc reported. The results shoxv that the phosphorescence originates from 311 undistorted "Blu(,nn') state. The sign and magnitude of the zero-field
