โœฆ Synopsis

High-resolution translational energy spectroscopy of 6 keV NO" on He, using a novel apparatus, is reported. Results are in good agreement with recent highquality CAS SCFKI calculations for the lowest X I: , * + A *II and B 2X + electronic states of N02+.

The electronic states of the unsaturated organometallic carbene CrCHz are investigated using high-resolution translational energy loss spectroscopy. The observed energy loss feature (1.05 +0.2 eV) is in good agreement with theoretical calculations which predict two higher lying states, 6B, and 6A,

The photodissociation of f&Cl, at 308 urn has been studied by the crossed laser-molecular beam technique. Both the product translational energy distribution and the anisotropy parameter j? were derived from the measured time-of--flight spectra. Results show that S&l2 undergoes a simple S-Cl bond sci
