## Abstract Electrocatalytic opening of styrene oxides (I) furnishing the corresponding primary alcohols (II) is accomplished using electrochemically reduced titanocene dichloride as catalyst, TmsCl as reagent for TiβO bond cleavage and 1,4βcyclohexadiene as Hβatom donor to prevent side reactions.
