## Abstract Prediction of the mutual effects of the components involving through holes is essential for the design of multilayer circuits to operate at high frequencies. In this article, the characteristics of coupling between adjacent pairs of through holes and between a through hole and microstri

Abstract
The spectral domain integral equation approach is employed for the characterization of passive microstrip circuits that cannot be analyzed using the traditional lumpedβcircuitβbased approach. General planar and certain threeβdimensional structures such as vias and air bridges are analyzed using the presented technique. Spurious mode coupling and the effect of the microwave housing on circuit performance are also investigated. Β© 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

This work applies spectral-domain analysis (SDA) to study the modal spectrum of open laterally-shielded microstrip lines. Although some thorough studies have been carried out (periodic phased leaky-wave antennas), only odd modes have been considered. The original contribution of this paper deals wit
## Abstract This paper presents an accurate and efficient fullβwave method, combined with iterative adjoint technique, for analyzing sensitivities of planar microwave circuits with respect to design parameters. Method of moments (MoM) in spatial domain is utilized, and generalized conjugate residua
