โœฆ Synopsis

Technologies such as virtualisation have turned IT delivery on its head, with desktop virtualisation helping redress the power and control balance between user and administrator through the simplification of shared computing resources and their management. Thin clients essentially provide a platform where users' IT systems are delivered to a device that is used to present the desktop and support user interaction. This all takes place without the requirement to run applications on a physical machine running its own local software at each individual user's desk.
