We report tunneling I-V characteristics at 4.2 K and 56 K of the high-T c superconductor Bi4Ca3Sr3Cu4016+~, using a Scanning Tunneling Microscope (Sll~). These results are analysed using different methods for the energy-gap determination. The most consistent interpretation of our measurements, both
