β¦ Synopsis
The thermal diffusivity of pig abdomen stratum corneum has been determined using photothermal beam deflection measurements and time-resolved mode mismatched thermal lens spectrometry . The most precise determination (2 .9 Β± 0.5 x 10 -4 cm2 s -1 ) was obtained using the thermal lens technique. The practical utility of both techniques is discussed .
