✦ Synopsis
The synt esis of 3H-labelled azidothymidine (AZT) from accomplished by column chromatography. The purity of the labelled compound was determined by high performance 1 iquid chromatography connected with a radioactive flow detector. The labelled AZT was found to be stable at pH ranging from 2.3 to 7.4 at 37OC and at hyperthermic temperature o f 42OC.
