A simple model of the scaling parameter (fc) as a function of z/L for a stable surface layer is developed. This model is used to derive empirical forms for curves presented by Kaimal et al. (1972). Also obtained is the peak of the frequency and the maximum value of the logarithmic spectra as a funct
